for what it's worth I like the route planning this app provides and that is great. It is just that please make it less painful by putting thought and care into stuff like "save" that should just work and avoid these rookie mistakes that cause a mountain of headaches for users and customers, please.

ABRP needs some serious overhaul as far as "saving and retrieving" goes. the app is extremely finicky, which leads folks (at least me) to shy away from a premium subscription or even not rely on it as it is very hard to trust that things will work fine and not lose state. I have a spreadsheet with plan IDs to get around the latest data loss issue and I surely should not have to do stuff like that.

The UI is confusing, the UX is unintuitive, and causes you to make mistakes, not save or overwrite plans.
This is beside the issue here which is that saved plans disappeared all of a sudden.
Also, What is up with all open tabs in the browser (chrome) ending up updating to the latest plan that you open in a browser?
e.g. if I open plan1: abetterrouteplanner.com/?plan_uuid=fbc42057-50ef-4654-8857-4397acbfa8b8 in tab 1 of chrome, and open plan2: abetterrouteplanner.com/?plan_uuid=f37593ba-50ef-46f1-a5cb-c3c721291a5b in tab2, of chrome (these uuids are not real, used as an example only here), ALL open tabs with ABRP end up showing plan2 and with refreshed whole new uuids. That is just not what I would expect to happen.
So, you need to please improve the saving and retrieving and make that reliable, intuitive and user friendly, not one with a million minefields spread all over to get you.

Is the possible amount of saved plans limited to six? It was different in the past. I can only see 6 saved plans in the list. No scrolling bar. Chrome Mac and Chrome Android and ABRP App Android the same.
Please enhance. With six plans you cannot plan a whole holiday.

Deleted several stored plans. They seem to delete but when I check they’re back.

Also, if I retrieve a plan and change the vehicle then the displayed plan changes to one with that vehicle. Also plans sometimes change the vehicle.

After saving a calculated trip it shows in the list. However, if I sign out and sign back in, it disappears. The same happens on the web page with a computer as well as in the app.

I managed to get this somewhat resolved. It seems that the web interface works best in Chrome. I unenrolled myself from the Beta program for the mobile app, removed the latest beta app, then installed the latest released version of the app. It seems more stable now. Thank you.

Unfortunately it still doesn’t work for me. New routes saved in the iPhone app disappear again from the list.
I was able to save and retain a new route in the browser, but it doesn’t appear in the list on the app (even after I log out and back in).

Hey everyone,
to start with we are incredibly sorry for the inconvenience this bug has caused. We have been working to fix it issue and from what we have tested it should be working fine now.

If any of you still experience issues please get back to us and we will investigate directly and attempt to restore any lost saved plans.

We have gone ahead and restored several old saved plans that might have been lost lately due to the issue. This might have resulted in that some of you will have to or have had to delete plans that you have already deleted. We are of course sorry about this but it’s the only way to save as many saved plans as possible.

Hi ABRP team
I managed to get my route saved.
How:
1. I created and planned the route on my PC
2. I pressed save route like before
3. the route appeared like before
4. I took the route and moved it’s position in my saved routes from last entry to second to last
5. the route remained after refreshing

But as usual it was not updated to the App in the Polestar when I started the trip so I had to use the replan current route function.
After the first charging stop it was finally available in the App of the Polestar, too.
I hope this helps and the whole data mess will improve, soon.

Once the plan is saved under "Tesla Model X", the other time with the name of my Tesla "Henrys X II"
Deleted plans are suddenly available again, even after several deletions!!!

You should be able to save more than six plans. Other users have reported that they're experiencing issues with saving plans altogether: abrp.upvoty.com/b/report-a-bug/saved-trip-disappears/. Perhaps you are experiencing the same issue?

Are you able to save another plan after removing an old one?

I logged in today to find that ALL of my saved plans have vanished! Such a waste.

Saved plans are not being saved. I just purchased this app, and it used to work when it was free. Very disappointed. Used on iPhone X and connected to Carplay, MINI SE 2023 in Canada. Please fix!

I'm constantly seeing old plans in my "saved plans" list that I've deleted multiple times and/or renamed or re-ordered or I'm missing new plans in my list that I have recently saved? This seems to be happening on the web app and iOS app. Is there a limitation on the # of saved plans that is causing this weird behavior?

Experienced the same problem on web. I’m using Firefox on macOS and cmd + refresh before loading, adjusting and saving did do the trick. Now all plans saved as expected including my vehicle name.

Came to the forum looking to see if I was the only one experiencing this.. apparently not.

Also can't see anything planned on the web version on the IOS app? Surely it's possible to plan a trip and open it on mobile ??

I had to reinstall ABRP v4.2.9 to get the white screen problem fixed, and now all my saved plans are also gone. :-(

This just happened to me 10 minutes ago. I am in the MIDDLE of a 6,000 mile trip, with plans for each day of driving, and now they are ALL. GONE! And I'll have to redo them all. Totally unacceptable!
