Hi all, it is disappointing that the eu version of the model y rwd (60kwh lfp) is missing. Why is this? Is the vehicle not common enough to make it in the list?

Is the 2022 Tesla Model Y Standard Range calculations in ABPR based on the limited max. 170 kW charging or is it based on the 250kW that the AWD has?
Adam Dreyer
Agree please add model Y RWD asap
Have anyone got an answer when it will be added?

Tesla offers the Rear-Wheel Drive Model Y in New Zealand. This is a 2022 version from Shanghai with LiFePO batteries.
Using the 2020 Model Y SR already in the planner does not work as a current substitute, routes do not calculate.

Hi, I hope commenting on this existing request is the best way to do this.
There are several variants of the Model Y which are not included in ABRP. I'm guessing the ones included are based on models available in the US.
The Tesla Model Y manufactured in Shanghai include:
SR/RWD: 60 kWh LFP
LR: 82 kWh NCA
P: 82 kWh NCA
The versions available vary from country to country, but in particular the RWD and P were first made available to order less than a week ago in many countries (Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore).
Some other countries have had the RWD version available for a bit longer (middle of last year).
ABRP doesn't include any 2021/2022 SR/RWD editions of the Tesla Model Y.
It's possible that there are different Model Y RWD 2021 and 2022 variations differ in the same way that the Model 3 LFP RWD 2021 and 2022 variations differ (went from 55 kWh to 60 kWh).
Sorry I can't be more clear - since I'm in Australia I'm only aware of what has been launched here. But it's probably easier to collect as much data as possible and do a mass update.
I am trying to update my car to Tesla model y 2022 but I have only 2020 and 2021 listed by the app.

Hi,
Thank you for the suggestion!
To help us build the model, would you please also provide as much of the following information as you can find online (Ordered from most to least important):
Usable Battery Capacity
Range (WLTP is preferred)
Weight
Dimensions (Height, Width, Length)
Coefficient of Drag
Coefficient of Rolling Resistance
We can build a model based on only a partial set of these, but the more data you can provide the better the model will be. For charging, at least some of the following data is needed:
Peak Charge Power
Charge Time (including start/end %)
Plot of Power vs SoC %
A video of a charging session from low to high SoC would also work quite well.
/Katya

Dzuku Mebonia
Usable Battery Capacity: 80 kWh Range (WLTP is preferred): 330 Mile Weight: 4555 LBS Dimensions (Height, Width, Length): 64″ H x 76″ W x 187″ L Coefficient of Drag: 0.23 Cd Coefficient of Rolling Resistance: Unknown. Hopefully others can contribute.
Peak Charge Power: 250kW Charge Time (including start/end %): Unknown. Hopefully others can contribute. Plot of Power vs SoC %: Unknown. Hopefully others can contribute.
John Schult
A coefficient of rolling resistance of 0.01 can be used.
When you say "Charge Time (including start/end %)", from what power source perspective do you mean? Level 1, 2, 3? Can you give me an example of another vehicle?
John Schult
This is a Power vs SoC for a Model Y from 2021 for level 2/3. It should be roughly the same for the 2022.

Donna Riddell
I have a 2022 Tesla Model Y and can't select that option in ABRP.
