Hi JT
Is there any specific ferry you have in mind?

Not really, but any ferry on the public road network should be available via the API.
At least ferries that connect to "trunk" and "primary" roads would be nice to have in ABRP.
It would allow the router to plan charging stops so that you arrive at the ferry terminal 5-10 minutes before departure. It is rare that the ferry can't fit all cars waiting. ABRP could have an option for how many minutes before departure you want to arrive at the terminal.

There are around 120 car ferry routes in Norway. The more busy crossings run every 20-30 minutes with 2-5 ferries during the day.
Unfortunately no good English Wikipedia for the ferries but the Norwegian article with google translate should work.

Thanks for the answer. We will see how we can do this better. Right now we are not able to set an arrival time for the route, just a departure time. Maybe this will change in the future.

We can set ferry departure and arrival manually now so there should be a way no?

Setting start time and ferry departure also will not change the charging time. Router seem to completely ignore the extra time given.

Example: abetterrouteplanner.com/?plan_uuid=53885d15-dde7-41d0-98e4-f8ac809820ee
Load all settings. Departure 16:00 would arrive at Fodnes ferry terminal around 18:07 says ABRP. I then set it to 18:30 to be there for the 18:40 ferry. The charging time between start and ferry never change.

With automatic ferry route time tables it would be possible to optimize charging and avoid sitting 20-40 minutes waiting for a ferry and not charging.
