Manipulate map

You should be able manipulate the map while you are currently in your trip. This way you can see what is around you and even possibly look ahead for directions. You do not always have your phone or tablet hooked up to Bluetooth in order to be able to hear direction through the radio.

I can't speak for Android, but the iOS version of the app needs a zoom in or out, look ahead (scrolling), and a re-center feature (like Google Maps). It currently forces you back to your current position when you try to look ahead. I'm sure the Android version would probably benefit too if it doesn't already have it.

Hi Derek,

What form of manipulations are you requesting? Simply moving around the map or something else? Do you mean in the iOS/Android app, Android Automotive or CarPlay/Android Auto?
