I have a drive today on a route where I choose the quickest route and ABRP chooses the quickest DRIVING route but ignores charging time of 55min. If I chose to avoid motorway the entire trip is half hour quicker because no charge is required to complete the trip on countryroads. I feel that this is what SHOULD make abrp different from ice car navigation but is missing.
My trip is Sønderborg Esbjerg Sønderborg in Denmark and I drive the Zoe. Test it for yourselves.

These comments are over a year old and I am still seeing weird routing options when I know there is a shorter, better route on rural roads that avoids needing a charge stop. Please add a shortest route option.

I'd like to add that I've found a similar issue with ABRP, and that for example today for the trip I'm planning the recommended route is 10 minutes faster but I will arrive with 5% less battery than another way I plan manually. It would seem logical for ABRP to simply have a "most efficient route" option, or at least give a couple different options to compare. I've seen this several times already (there is a route where the difference is 20 minutes and 10%) and often the alternative is also the equivalent of "the scenic route" and I don't mind having a slightly longer drive if it saves battery and a possible charge later on in the trip.
