Description: Apple CarPlay has a dashboard which ABRP could be integrated as well.

Use Case: Right now, if you leave the navigation ABRP disappears from the top three (while routing) on the left and if you go onto the Dashboard screen it is not integrated there and the last used integrated service is shown. If this is implemented, you have a better overview, and it would be faster to get back to the navigation.

Would also be nice if the app could do the split screen that other CarPlay navigation apps do.

Hi, I love your app but I think you could improve it a little bit by supporting the navigation API on Apple CarPlay.

At the moment ABRP act as a normal app, if it acted as a navigation app it would show up as a widget in the widget view and it would be able to send the next exit to the car onboard systems.

Would really like to see this feature added. With more EVs having large Screens it makes using the dashboard more appealing. It's my primary view when I am using Carplay.

After 4.2 ABRP update, there are lots of CarPlay improvements: battery SOC present with 'free' navigation, turn on/off voice direction directly on screen... I still think DASHBOARD SUPPPORT will be a game changer for ABRP. Please consider this option

I'm unable to use ABRP maps in dashboard mode, which means that I need to swap between key apps (music, phone, maps) almost constantly when using ABRP.

Additionally (and possibly related), when navigating in ABRP, if I exit the map (for example, to see all the other apps I have with CarPlay support), the icon on the left side of my CarPlay screen (that shows recently used apps) won't show ABRP. This only happens if I'm currently navigating using ABRP.
