Avatar

The following chargers are shown with “limited access” on the app, thus unable to be added to the automatic trip planner, however they are fully functional and open for everyone to use, can it please be fixed? Thank you.

*Every charger on the [BR Super Carga] network are open to all EVs with no limitations*

Here are the links to the chargers: abetterrouteplanner.com/?charger_id=439096600

Hi João,

The status 'limited' can mean a few different things but first and foremost it is about avoiding sending users to chargers they might not be able to access.

We for instance also avoid sending you to charging locations that might have limited opening/access hours and in some instances this data is automatically tagged by the charging data provider we use.

This means that, if a charger is located in a parking garage or by a shopping centre, it may be tagged as 'limited' due to the likelihood that it'll be inaccessible due to the place being closed at some hours.

Can you confirm that these chargers are open and usable at all hours?

Hi Katya,

Yes, i can confirm you that both these chargers are accessible 24/7 with no restrictions. What charging data provider are you getting these informations? I can talk to the network responsible for the chargers and check if there is some kind of wrong information being shared about them to ABRP, because is not the first nor the second time this happens.

Thank you for the quick response! I’m looking forward to fixing this issue!

Hi João,

Thank you for confirming. We use a variety of data sources but these two instances are provided by Eco-Movement.

I've reported these chargers to them, and we'll let them handle the conversation with the network if necessary.
