ABRP said my last SC was going to cost 1.27. Ended up being 6 dollars. The charge cost estimated is way off
Superchargers in Arizona and Utah are incorrectly priced. Most have rates of $0.35 kwh.
Hey Nick, unfortunately, the cost of charging is based on the data we are getting and the quality can vary between providers. In most cases, it will give you a good indication of the price but it's unfortunately not exact and in some cases far from exact. We are however actively working with some of the charger networks to integrate prices in the ABRP-app which will give you exact prices and even more functionality. Unfortunately, as it involves external actors we can't give you any time estimates for when features around this will start arriving.
I am specifically talking about Superchargers. I noticed that ABRP said that the charging was going to cost $1.26. The rate ended up being $6 at a .30kwh price.
That is nowhere close. Are you guys not pulling from Tesla the supercharger rates?
Hey Nick, the tesla chargers are coming from tesla but I'm uncertain how it is with the rates. However, we are moving forward with a general update to prices in where prices will be much more accurate etc.
