Why does ABRP suggest a charging stop?

ABRP is still very fond of motorways which are the routes I didn't select. Those are without a charging stop and a calculated consumption of 34,8 kWh. The route I often prefer is 18 km shorter with an expected consumption of 30,6 kWh. But for this route there is a charging stop planned. Why? And why isn't there an option to have a shorter or more economic route? Without motorways wouldn't make much sense, as it is quite difficult to cross the river Elbe without using motorways.

Hi Henning
Can you please add a link to the plan. When the plan is open click at Share and Share ABRP link. Paste the link here.

Hi Henning
When you select this route that takes a longer time we charge because you have set the Arrival SoC to 20%. To match that you need to charge. If you select the faster route we don't make you charge.

Hi Linda,
thanks for your reply.
I reduced the Arrival SoC to 16%. But this shouldn't make any difference as I would reach the destination with 38 % after charging 10%. So without the charging stop the Arrival SoC should be well above 20 %. And again, the shorter route is with slower speeds so the calculated consumption makes sense, the behaviour of the route planning not.

Hey Henning, unfortunately, this topic is a bit complex and something we are working on improving. As it is now you will probably only be able to get the route you want without the charger (even if it's not needed). However, by dropping a guide point on the road you will force the planner over this route and will be able to get it without the not needed charger, so this is something you can test. Hope the guide point helps and meanwhile we will work on improving the planning algorithm to better generate these kinds of routes.
