Weird charging calculated speed on PL chargers

K
Kuba Krysztofiak

calculated charging speed on many chargers in Poland is not aligned with actual charger capability. As effect wrong charging times are shown and choice of chargers is not optimal.
Examples:
abetterrouteplanner.com/?plan_uuid=76b116e3-7d09-419b-8841-4d73439a44b3
abetterrouteplanner.com/?charger_id=60221986 - calculates time as 60kW CCS while it is 200kW CCS
abetterrouteplanner.com/?charger_id=104486946 - calculates time as 50kW CCS while it its 140kW CCS
another alongside route:
abetterrouteplanner.com/?charger_id=42664626 - charging time calculated as for 50kW while its 150kW

abetterrouteplanner.com/?charger_id=42664626 - I have charge 13.05.22 from 42% to 56% with peak 107kW
abetterrouteplanner.com/?charger_id=60221986 - I have charge 11.09.22 from 49% to 63% with peak 89kW
There a lot of plug share registrations with >100kW on 400V cars.

Hey Kuba, we have looked at this issue now and it turns out that in our data Greenways chargers, that you have preferred, has a peak current of 217A which then should not be able to charge your car that chargers with 400V with to high power. Max would be around 85 kW and then there will be some losses on that.

If you use these chargers and know for a fact that it goes much quicker then the information we have is wrong and we will have to fix this of course. So we are eagerly awaiting your feedback!

If they our information about Greenway is correct then not preferring them would be a good option for you.

Hey Kuba, indeed this looks a bit odd with the long charging times. We will take a look at it and get back to you.
