Using Imperial settings in USA defaults to metric distances

I paid for the premium service to use in CarPlay and the distance calculations are in metric when starting a plan in the iPhone app and not miles.

I noticed if you plan the route in CarPlay the units are correct. If you start it in the iPhone app and then continue in the car, then the units are wrong.
