ABRP v4.5.0 (2349)
iPhone 12 Pro iOS 16.6
The car icon jerks from the time of rerouting.
Regardless of whether an automatic rerouting happens or whether you choose an alternative route.

And again… a new update with old bugs.. the arrow now sticks to the map for a second or 2, making the app unusable in city surroundings.. people please.. it’s pretty common to make an app better with an update.. not worse!!!! And don’t ask me for a link.

Yes, ABRP V4.6.0 (2410) fixes the jerking.
But now we have another issue:

Bo_ABRP
Does the latest 4.6.0 build fix this issue for you?

Was a bit blund in my recent comment… after doing some technical rain dance all worked fine again. However it shouldn’t have occurred in the first place. And because the program has been so buggy, you lose trust…

Maybe the same error like here:

ABRP v4.5.2 (2353)
Today I had the same issue again like reported. :-(
The car symbols move not smooth but humbles.
TomTomZoe
It happens with iOS ABRP app with my iPhone.
The only live data comes from Torque Pro running on an Android Tablett.

We have a "tunnel mode" which kicks in if you are in a tunnel and no GPS coverage which sounds like it could cause this. Does this happen all the time for you even when the app has GPS? For all drives?
TomTomZoe
It only happened when I leave the planned route and the app recalculated the route. Or if I have had an alternative route calculated myself while driving.
But as of V4.5.2, this problem no longer occurred for the time being.

Although I drive evenly, the vehicle arrow shows then the following behavior:
it stands, then rushes forward to the current position, then it stands again, then rushes forward again to the correct position, etc.
It seems like the position only updates every few seconds.
Bo_ABRP
This is with an iPhone and an OBD adapter? Some other live data connected too?
Benoit Proulx
I’ve experienced the exact same issue.
I’m connected to Tronity for the live data. No OBD.

Please vote for this issue :-)

Can you describe jerk? Does the map move to another position and then back for every reroute?
Benoit Proulx
As previously mentioned, I experience the same « jerk »: the arrow stands, then rushes forward to the current position, then it stands again, then rushes forward again to the correct position, etc.
It seems like the position only updates every few seconds.
