Strange routing

This routing also makes no sense:

It routes towards the A3, but doesn't use it (which is sensible), but routing towards the A3 makes no sense in the first place as the B417 is basically the most direct way to the second stop (which is why I added it :-D) .

Hello,
if you look at the routing from Görsroth to Neuhof (upper right corner of the image), there is a direct connection between the two villages.
Instead of using this, the routing detours towards the A3 (the yellow road even further to the right) and later on turns towards Neuhof.

Is it the detour up north you're referring to? If you can provide a screenshot of the specific part of the route where we take a detour that would be helpful.
