Starting ABRP on CarPlay crashes if the app is not running on iPhone already

We killed the app on iPhone.
Start the app on CarPlay. It shows the map for a few moment then jumps back to the icons view.
Wired CarPlay connection. We have an OBD2 connection. Might be related to that?

iPhone 11 Pro iOS 16.0.2
Hi, version 4.2.9 in Mach-E, same issue, Carplay App opens, white screen and then closes immediately. Using iPhone11 with iOS16

It seems to be resolved with the update that I got this morning (4.2.9). Even if I kill the ABRP app on my phone, it starts again in Carplay. Makes wonders for the roadtrip that I am currently on :)

I can add that it still works like a charm for me now. Iphone 13 and an VW ID.3

Yes. I need to start the app on my phone before using it in carplay, on many occations. Saw it this morning again while driving to work…

With 4.2.8 it‘s still the same in my car. I have to start ABRP on the iPhone before I can use ABRP on CarPlay.

When the App on iPhone is not running, connect the iPhone to CarPlay, then start ABRP on CarPlay display.
ABRP is going to crash immediately.
