Since update to 4.2.0 (885) Android no trips are recorded.
Save ny activity is set to active.

I have been using OBDII - Vgate vLinker MC+ - to successfully to get live data for my trips and this has always worked fine, showing my cars SOC accurately throughout the journey.
However, apart from on the first day I set this up , there have been no journeys saved in the 'My Drives' screen.
I do have the 'Save my activity' option selected.
Is there a way to get these trips to be recorded?

Android Auto v7.4.620964-release
Pixel 6 - Android v12
Kia Soul EV e-Soul 64 kWh
OBDII - Vgate vLinker MC+

We just found an issue related to that and fixed it. A new version 4.2.3 should be available soon that fixes this issue.

I can confirm that this is now working for me after the recent 4.2.3 (905) update :-)

The trips are now recorded again, thank you!
The Bluetooth status display in Android Auto is now much more informative. However, I would like to see a brighter colour, as green and blue are difficult to distinguish in bright daylight.
The screenshot shows the display of my IONIQ 28kWh.
The brightness like the Spotify icon in the screenshot would be ok.

I will check the colors again, i think we can use the green we had for the bars earlier here, that was also brighter and is used at other occurences as well.

Thanks for getting back to me :-)
To start I open the ABRP Android App on my phone, to set my route, and then connect the phone to my car via USB. Then I select Android Auto on my car's infotainment screen and choose ABRP.
When driving I am not using my phone or any other Android Auto features... just watching the map.
SOC is showing live updates throughout the trip.

Hi Herbert,
Have you tried performing the OBD setup again? You can do so by clicking the blue button 'ABRP OBD CONNECTION' as seen at the bottom of your screenshot.

Yes, I often have to renew the OBD setup, when I don´t get a communication, when the car is not used more than one day.

Hi Herbert, i think you do not get a connection to the car via OBD and that results in trips not being recorded. Can you please check at a start of the trip, if the OBD connection is established?
We are also currently working on improving the stability of the BT connection, so stay tuned for an update soon, which might improve this.
If you want to test an early internal version with the BT changes let me know and i'll add you to the list of testers so you can download the test app.

I'm checking carefully the connection before starting a trip, waiting till the SOC symbol becomes green. The SOC decreases during the trip (or increases in trips down a mountain).
I'm already in beta state - is the test app something different to beta?

I really do not want to spend more money to get another OBD2 dongle as mine was working fine with recording trips till last week, can you please check your end at ABRP to see if everything is working fine software wise, my software version is 4.2.12 (1125)
