I planned and saved a trip with specific route and stops, from Las Vegas, NV to Austin, TX via I40 to Oklahoma, via I35. When I open the saved trip, it automatically reroutes the trip completely differently, going instead through Phoenix, AZ then to Austin via I10.
Further, I had selected specific hotels within the ABRP app at certain charging stops for an overnight stay. I can no longer select a specific hotel, nor does the ABRP app accept the depart destination time programmed. It ignores that set time and continues as if there is no overnight stay.
After deleting the app on both my iPhone and iPad, and creating online via my Mac, it appears to be working better. I can now find hotels for overnight stays, they seem to being saved, as are the trips and planned stops. The only thing I see now is that some app settings do not get saved between devices.
For example, charging stops, networks, battery, and vehicle, all had to be checked and set on both mobile devices.
The primary trips I had trouble with were Home - Hutch I40/I35, and the return trip, Hutch - Home I10/Phoenix. These are two I’m preparing to take in late October/early November.
Thanks for the app, and your response.
Looking at the linked plans in our web version the links produce identical plans currently. Do you mean that this issue was only present in the iOS app?
It appears to be in the iOS and iPadOS versions. However, other than a few items in Settings as mentioned above, they seem to be better since deleting and reinstalling on both iPhone and iPad.
Please share the link to the plan in question so that we may have it reviewed.
I should add that I'm using an iPhone 14 Pro Max, iOS 16.0.2, and M1 iPad Pro 11", iPadOS 15.6.1.
I also just checked via Safari on my 2021 16" M1 MacBook Pro, macOS 12.6. And the hotel selection seems to work there.
