Spokane to Seattle i-90 route plan

For some reason the planner routes me to a longer route and smaller highway. Spokane to Seattle Washington the fastest route is I-90. This is the main freeway with plenty of chargers. For some reason abrp goes halfway then detours up north. I took a screen shot and drew a line on light blue where abrp should go or at a minimum give an option but it never does. The freeway is the main freeway that goes across the USA. It is 2 lanes each way high speed. I wish I could drag the route to this freeway like Google maps but I can't.

Thanks!

Thank you very much. I was worried that it would not get fixed because I saw other issues with no resolutions. Good job

Hi all,

Maps have been updated now and this plan is working again.

ABRP seems to be picking very odd routes when trying to route Westbound towards Snoqualmie Pass (the most important pass in WA state).

Example: Route from Ellensburg, WA to Snoqualmie Pass,WA or anywhere east of Snoqualmie Pass on I-90. It will route north to Route 2 and come back around seemingly avoiding Westbound travel for no apparent reason.

Hi,

Examined the road bit by bit between Spokane and Seattle. This is a map issue. Here's the specific section of the route that we're unable to get past, it seems to be the point where the road connects to this off-ramp south of Easton State Airport.

I cannot find any actual errors with the roads or the motorway junction point, and it is tagged normally, the same as the north one, which we have no issue going past.

Further investigation is needed.

For some reason your app bypasses half of i-90 The main freeway that runs across the United States. The portion I am talking about is from Spokane Washington to Seattle Washington it bypasses half of i-90 going to Seattle when it is clearly a better and most definitely a safer route. Why is this not an option?

The highlighted section in purple is i-90 for some reason it bypasses it at ellensburg this is not safe or a better route

I submitted this a month ago I was asked to submit a picture and then it was moved from bug to something else to be forgotten. Please fix this it's a safety issue

Hi Tom,

I cannot find anything under your account submitted a month ago but I can find the ticket you submitted last week which is being handled. I'll merge this one into the existing one.

Hi Eric & Kenn,

Could you provide a link to an example route that demonstrates the issue?

Redmon, WA to Corvallis MT is correct
but reversing that trip, the route goes north at Ellensburg and avoids I-90 west bound. That makes no sense. This used to work in earlier releases.

I have the same problem. I reported it before checking for any other bug reports, sorry.

Eastbound its fine, just Westbound is the problem. This did not used to be a problem.

I have the same issue. ABRP avoids I-90 through Snoqualmie Pass. I checked with WA-DOT and that road is OPEN. Why won't ABRP allow us to route that way?

Good I'm not the only one. Yeah very strange there's absolutely nothing wrong with the freeway it's not closed. I do wish the app would give you the option to drag it down on the road of your choice but for me it only gives two routes. Both are way out of the way. Not that I need one going from Spokane to Bothell but this is our first road trip and I wanted to play with the app and get tested out
