Replan in driving mode does not consider current position for current plan

When driving and you click replan it uses the initial start position. It would be better to use the current position for recalculation. But i think this is more or less what we do when clicking "Alternatives" so this would make "Replan" a bit obsolete. We could add something to search for nearby chargers instead.

Are we talking about the RN app replan button or AA? In any case, we should of course replan from the current position.

Yes RN app. Uses starting position again on replan if the starting position was a fixed position and not "my location".

The replan and alternatives functionality in the app caused some heavy discussions on goingelectric forum about the benefit of replan. In my opinion replan in drive mode does not make much sense, and if we want to keep it we should replan from current position instead, like we do on AA when we search for a plan.
