When linked to my Nissan Leaf an Australian accented voice gives directions . Unfortunately it also turns radio on which the system does not allow me to turn off .No a good situation when driving on motorway and illegal to stop

Hi Alistair,
We've since this report was filed had CarPlay support rewritten to combat several issues, audio ones like the one you describe among them.
Please ensure you're using the latest version of the iOS app and should you still be seeing the problem let us know by commenting and we'll have the case reopened.

I use Nisaan Car play Also what operating system are you referencing ie is it ipad or IMac or on the car system ?

You can adjust the TTS settings and speech in your OS settings. Normally you can switch between different accents/voices and set a new default and that will also be used on ABRP then.
Do you use CarPlay or Android Auto?
