Plan with automatic consumption differs greatly from the ona with the same manual consumption.

Car: Opel, Mokka-e 2023. When I set the reference consumption to automatic mode, the plan gets *very* optimistic (like 279km on the highway from 84% to 51%, the car has only ~300km of range ideally, i.e. completely unrealistic). When I switch to the same number (198Wh/km at 110km/h), the range gets realistic (on the safe side, but this is absolutely fine). This is confusing and may lead to unexpected/bad driving experience and bad reception of ABRP. Especially for new users. This setting should work consistently - it is one of the most important ones.

Thanks for clarification. Now it is clear.
My data comes from the psa_car_controller live data update. This is probably too coarse, as you mentioned (few minutes resolution, probably). OTOH the distance/speed/consumption are already integrated/averaged by the car from the much finer resolution data. Is it really unusable for your modelling?

Hi Paweł,

Ah, now I understand better what we're looking at here. Since you said you had calibrated consumption I presumed you were using an OBD dongle since it is the only official live data source for which calibrated reference consumption is supported.

We're likely not getting all the data needed for an accurate calibration and it should not be enabled for this type of live data connection.

If you want to see the average consumption we have calculated for a specific plan you can always click at the top of the itinerary list (where we display the "X min (Y km)" ) to expand it for a summary of avg consumption, charge cost and energy used.

Additionally, I know my avg. consumption after 2000km driven in various conditions. It would be nice to have some way to compare it or add it to the model.

I'll keep checking, but after first trip the inconsistency returned. I understand that the trip was short and not very representative. I still think you should display *actual* estimated ref. Consumption instead of the basic one, or extend the help text to explain what the number means. Is there any way to get the actual data of the model (or used to build it). I understand if this is your secret ;).

Thanks. I did reset it and the plan in automatic mode is now identical to manual mode. I will report how it changes while I drive. This may be connected with short time since I started update using generic link (from psa_car_controller), furthermore stellantis servers experienced some issues as well. This seems plausible. Thus, my suggestion is to show in automatic mode actual estimated value. Otherwise, it is very confusing - since the same number in the box gives wildly different predictions/plans.

Hi Paweł,

It sounds like you might have an issue with the current calibration value, have you checked this section of our faq? www.iternio.com/faq?questionId=d039f2d7-ee7d-4e26-ade7-bd48f17c4ea3&appDefId=14c92d28-031e-7910-c9a8-a670011e062d
