ABRP Android V 5.0.2 (2857).
Pixel 6a
This was a long-term reliably working configuration under production Android 14. Moving to Android 15 Beta is the only known change. ABRP will not connect, attempting to link again says no devices found yet. Sometimes, after just letting it sit for maybe 15 minutes or so, it will connect and show live data from the adapter.
I have used the OBDLink app to upgrade the firmware in the CX to the most current. OBDLink app connects to the adapter without problem. Bug also reported to Google through the Android Beta Feedback app.
I am able to access the CX normally (that is, immediately and reliably) with a Pixel 8 running the same version of ABRP on production Android 14.

Hi,
We've previously had issues with the OBD connection feature. Please update to the latest version of the app and try again.

Do you also have an online API based live data connection in the ABRP?
Jim Allen
I do not. I have only the connection to the OBDLink CX hardware. I do have two vehicles, each with their own OBDLink CX installed. But the function or disfunction I'm seeing is independent of whether the two vehicles are sitting side by side or or 200 miles apart.

I've been having the same issue connecting ABRP to an OBDLink CX for several days now on Android 14 5.10.198 running on a Pixel 7. This setup had been working mostly flawlessly for over a year.

You need to start ABRP before android auto connects, just a mitigation
Jim Allen
I just tried that, and indeed it works. Thank you for the advice!
