I connected the OBD2 BLE on ABRP iPhone app, the status is alternating between “connected” and “writing” but SOC % still not updated. (photo exemple)

I have a BYD Dolphin Mini 38 KWh and the OBDLink CX (updated firmware). I can’t get the complete live data, only I see location and altitude. Could you help me to display the complete live data?

Same problem for me. I have an OBDLinkCX and ABRP. It has been working great for many months, but for the past month or so, ABRP has reported "Not connected".
If I remove the device and adds it again, it will work for as long as I maintain connection. The next time I walk away and come back, it will not work again.
I am on Android on a OnePlus 12 phone.
This is really annoying. Please let me know if I can do anything to help you troubleshooting. Log files, remote access....etc.

Approximately the same. After the latest update my obdlink cx will not connect to ABRP. Deleted all traces of the dongle. It pairs with phone ok. It also connects to the OBDLink app OK.
The ABRP just sits looking for the dongle forever.
This was working fine about a month ago.
Vehicle is BYD Atto 3
OBDLink CX (latest firmware)
ABRP v5.0.4
Can I roll back a few months perhaps because the only thing thats changed over the last several months is ABRP.

I just bought the very expensive Oblink CX for $130 Aust dollars and just been charged 55 Euros for another 12 months of premium membership, I thought it was a problem with my Veepeak that was working flawless for a long time. Using the OBLink CX BLE still does not work !!!! What is ABRP team doing about this ????
The problem started about a week or 2 ago where the bluetooth connection keeps dropping off from the ABRP app.

Hi Renato,
Usually these dongles cannot remain paired with two different apps at the same time. Have you tried disconnecting from Carscanner explicitly?
/Katya
Renato Mendes
Hi Katya,
Yes, I disconnect from Car Scanner before connect to ABRP, and after that ABPR shows updated SOC % but stills not refreshing it even status is like "connected" and "writing".
The car is a BYD Seagull.
Katya_ABRP
Hi Renato,
It is then possible that the OBD commands for the Dolphin mini / Seagull are different from those for other BYD vehicles.
What model of OBD dongle are you using?
/Katya
Renato Mendes
I'm using the iCar Pro BLT from vGate.
Renato Mendes
Hi Katya.
"It is then possible that the OBD commands for the Dolphin mini / Seagull are different from those for other BYD vehicles." means that perhaps BYD Seagull wasn't approved correctly by ABRP?
Bo_ABRP
That is possible, some brands tend to change their communication more than expected between models and even firmware versions.
Could you go to ABRP settings, and enable "Show bug button" - then have the OBD connect/try to read for a minute and then press the bug button on the map. This will send us a report of exactly what communication is taking place for you.
Renato Mendes
Yesterday I did something that helps ABRP live data works.
First I start Car Scanner app, connect it to OBD2, access "live data" option and then open ABRP.
This way ABRP keeps updating live data.
It seems APBR can't read live data alone on BYD Seagull.
Renato Mendes
Today I'll do the test to send the report from bug button.
Renato Mendes
I just sent 2 bug reports: first with Car Scanner app live data OFF, second with Car Scanner live data ON.
Renato Mendes
OBS: I noticed that with Car Scanner live data off, ABPR live data never shows "reading" status, only "connected" and "writing".
Renato Mendes
Hi. Did you see the bud reports?
Manuel_ABRP
I checked your logs and most of the times the responses we get from the car/dongle do not match the command we sent before. Sometimes we event get responses for commands that we do not send at all. So either there is some other app still active or the dongle behaves weirdly.
Could you please do another bug report with the latest ABRP version (5.0) and make sure no other app is active? Thank you very much!
Renato Mendes
I sent 2 new bug reports about 2h ago.
This time not using Car Scanner live data, only ABRP connected to car's OBD2.
Renato Mendes
Hi. the new bug reports work?
I cancelled my subscription (until the app works for me) and will not access ABPR on CarPlay after July 23rd. I will be able to do any test by this date.
