OBD Vgate VLINKER MC+ is unable to connect in latest Beta

Since new version -Android 4.2.0 , OBD dongle Vgate VLINKER MC+ is unable to connect at all. In previous versions that process was unstable and sometimes it took few retrys but now is impossible at all.
Facts:
1.- CarScanner has no problem and connection with VLINKER MC+ takes no more than 5 sec. (see attached picture)
2.- I have uninstalled and installed Android ABRP with no success. Actual version App. Android 4.2.0 (831)
3.- The connection process stops every time at the searching window (see attached picture). I have tried many, many times:, re-plugin OBD dongle, switching Bluetooth and ON, etc. with no success.
INITIAL CONCLUSION: I have read than ABRP saves ODB previous connection data for trying/searching . But It seems that this searching process is not working properly for both old and new connections so I strongly suggest adding a new action button in this "searching window" for displaying all Bluetooth available connection (as is usual in other apps) and so the user could choose the right one and finish this - so erratic- procedure.

I noticed (Android, same dongle, 4.2.3, Kia e niro) a non-reproducible connection with the Vlinker MC+, but if I do the following, it always connects: Car on, connect Dongle before starting to drive, open ABRP, manually connect in the app (which shows the iOS name).
Before that, Android has to have been connected once in the bluetooth settings (with the Android name of the dongle).

UPDATE:
Last nigtt, I was able to connect Vgate VLINKER MC+ to my Android phone, but surprisingly, the connection shown by the app. was the vLinker MC-IOS (see screenshot)
My phone is Android and the only active BlueTooth connection is the vLinker MC-Android as shown in the attached screenshots of the phone and CarScanner app. (which has no problem connecting at any time).
This morning I have tried to reconnect again and it has been impossible and the process stops again on the search screen without finding any valid BLE connection.
i'm really lost. II hope all this helps. We will keep testing.

I also have the Vlinker MC+, and for me it seems to work much better and be more stable in 4.2.0 than in the previous versions.
Haven't tried it very often though, so I am still monitoring the situation.

Very Interesting Juwie. Which version are you using?. Android or IOS?

Android. Unfortunately it didn't work well yesterday evening. I had to manually reconnect using the "ABRP OBD CONNECTION" function to make it work again.
I'll wait for the next version and see if it gets better then.

After further testing it seems that it is always required to manually start ABRP on the phone and then wait for a minute or so - eventually it connects to the vLinker MC+. It is not sufficient just to start the car and Android Auto.

We can reproduce the behavior and try to identify the issue and provide a fix with next beta. In the meantime you can use last release version by leaving the beta in play store.

Thank you Samuel. I have to clarify that when carrying out the tests I did not realize that the version was BETA since the update was carried out automatically a few hours before. My only interest is to continue helping to improve this useful app, so I will continue testing this BETA version, so full of good news :-)

Thanks. We will try to make more clear if a version is considered beta or release when on beta channel, as on beta channel you also get latest releases if they are newer than a beta.

Good idea. Maybe adding "BETA" suffix -or similar- to version number displayed by the app.?.

This update is still a beta, if it doesn't work for you, you can leave the beta program and are back on release.

Update: I left it plug in for a while and eventually it did connect but took a long period of time.
