No voice/speech output on an AppliePie box with Android9

When I start ABRP (on an AppliePie box with Android9), it opens Google Speech services in Google Play, which are installed already. There's no speech output in ABRP.

Same here. Using ABRP on the Apple Pie Mini ux999 ... I have the problem that I cannot hear any navigation voice from ABRP. It seems to be caused by some issue with Google Speech Services. They are installed but it seems not recognized. Every time I boot the ABRP app, it switches to the play store and shows me the Google Speech app.

Tapping back to ABRP, I can use it but without hearing the commands.
