New release has lost the ability to cross the English channel via the channel tunnel. It always takes me to Dover - Calais. Old releases worked perfectly

Have just recreated the plan I will be travelling in 2 weeks time. It auto selects Dover and if I add Channel Tunnel, as per Tom it takes me in and out and over to Dover for the ferry

I have a number of saved plans for a roadtrip to Malaga and back, but since the last update, going via the tunnel is no longer an option. I have added it (the tunnel) as a waypoint but I am still taken to Dover port for the Ferry. Even if I exclude Dover form future plans, it still appears on all save routes regardless of my actions.

Can you please share with us the plan you are trying out?

A couple of things here, all my routes now go through the tunnel because I have found the correct address to select which is "
Folkestone/Channel Tunnel (R), Folkestone, CT21 4, United Kingdom" however, I agree with another poster that there is nowhere within the Eurotunnel area to select as a waypoint that ABRP will respect.
If I create a new route the software defaults to the ferry at Dover/Douvres but that can be altered.
The route that you have created in that link routes via Dover/Douvres on my ABRP

Tried to share this but your email declined. Dover always comes up regardless, even if I exclude it from all other trips and even if I use the Tunnel as a guidepoint.

Good afternoon, Linda
I have tried again. I logged out then in and tried. Used it as a guest, using Eurotunnel Ashford as a waypoint, the Chargers there as a waypoint and clicking in the land withing the terminal as a guidepoint, but again these all direct me to the Port of Dover via the tunnel which is not possible. I have tried 3 different devices (PC + 2 Android) all with the same result. I am afraid your bug fix has failed so far.

Hi Tom
We are about to fix this. In the meantime you can right click on land by the tunnel and select Guidepoint. Then we will select the tunnel.

For me it still doesnt work . If I select my route ie UK to Spain it will default to dover / calais. If I then select Channel Tunnel Folkstone it still has you going in and out and then to Dover. Tried in APP and webpage

Hi all,

The new routing engine had a slight issue with 'trains' which is what the tunnel counts as. This has now been corrected.

While I accept Le Shuttle is now there as a selectable option it still primarily selects Dover/Douvres as a ferry but it actually thinks it's a charger. Also, it has done nothing to address the following points from another report I have made:
2. If I alter the charging time at a planned stop ABRP inserts a random charging stop earlier in the journey for no reason and inserts a required charge of 100&
3. old/random pin drops floating about the maps
4. notes/comments don't save
The insertion of a random charging stop also happens when the Dover/Douvres option is deleted from the planning

I have the same problem, even if you X it in planning, it thinks a) Dover/Douvres is a charger and b) even if you select "All Future Trips" it ignores you anyway. Even if you find the Le Shuttle option it tries to route you in then out and onward to the previously ignored Dover Ferry.

I guess best case it should give the option for both for people who want to do either.

I concur and all my saved plans for my Journey next month take me from the Folkeston Tunnel Charger to Dover Port which is an impossible journey
