I'm trying to navigate across the Southwest desert of the United States and the route planner refuses to include interstate 10 in any capacity on my route which is ludicrous considering it's the largest most popular highway in the Southwest

Thanks! Highways (and all other options) have been avoided in the linked route, so we'll have to avoid it. If you Uncheck the option in: Settings > Road conditions > Avoid on route, you'll get the plan you'd like.
