Navigation arrow on car play Screen is updating position only every seconds and feels like it’s stuttering. It’s not moving smoothly along the planned route smoothly like other mapping apps.

The 4.6.0 release build 2410 should have solved the GPS issues - can you verify that it works for you?

Yes, killing the app and restart helps solving the problem.
I did not notice if it was only after a re-route but I don’t think so because we restarted new routes couple of times with the same issue. Exactly as you described it:
“it stands, then rushes forward to the current position, then it stands again, then rushes forward again to the correct position, etc.
It seems like the position only updates every few seconds.”

Which phone do you use and do you use a cord when connecting to carplay? Which car do you have?

My car is Audi Q4 2022. Although my car has wireless CarPlay I was using the cord to connect to the car.

My phone is an iPhone 14 Pro running the latest Beta iOS 17.0 (21A5319a)

I have the same problem. Car is Hyundai Ioniq 5 and phone IPhone 13 with latest iOS (16.6).

Does this happen after choosing an alternative route or if you leave the route and ABRP has to reroute the plan?
Then you may have the same issue like me:
