Megane E-tech EV40 standard - Wrong charging rate

It seems, ABRP doesn't consider the onboard 7.4kW charger. EV40 standard charge lacks of fast charge options, so 7.4kW is the maximum charging rate. So, all estimated charging times are wrong.

Hi,
It looks promising :) The calculations look ok.
Thank you!

This bug with level 2 charging has now been fixed - please check on your side too. We are still missing your non-CCS version of the Megane, but that will come.

Hi Gorazd,

It is possible to select 7.4 in the vehicle selection, have you done so and we're still not calculating the correct charge time?

As far as we're aware the base model should have CCS (fast) charging.

If you could share a plan link where the charging times are incorrect it would be very helpful.

Hi,

thank you for your quick response!

The link provided above is a trip, I plan for New year, I was just anticipating, what does it mean, having an 7.4kW onboard charger. However, I can't find any tab / option to enter the charger capybility. As far as a read on your forums, ABRP should consider the onboard charger capability and use it as a reference. And no, my EV40 has only single phase - 7.4kW Type 2 charging socket, without CCS. I provided also a screenshot, just in any case :)

Best regards

Thank you for the link!

I can see that level 2 chargers are not selected in settings, only CCS - hence we'll calculate thinking you'll use CCS chargers, noticeably faster times that.

On the other hand;

1. We do not have a model of the EV40 without CCS. I'm quite surprised that Renault would produce a new car without fast-charging, what country is this model sold in?

2. We appear to have an issue with planning using only L2 charging when we expect the model to be able to charge using CCS (even if CCS is deselected in settings). I've had this noted so that we can investigate.

The car was bought two months ago as new. I'm from Slovenia. Perhaps the lack of ccs was the main reason for a big 5k€ discount 🤣

A possible reason, yes!
I found this listed in a Slovenian catalog from Renault. I assume 7.4 kW is what they refer to as 'standard charging'?

Hi,
exactly. The first column is refered as standard charge. 1f, 7.4kW max, no CCS. As a matter of fact, I use my car for 100-120km per day, mainly home - work - home and other minor stuff. But I would like to be prepared, when going on a longer trip.
