Hi Mike
Depending on the vehicle, there are one or more SOC levels (gross, net/usable, cockpit). ABRP uses one of these SOC values, so it is possible that the SOC displayed in ABRP does not correspond exactly to the value in the cockpit.
Hi Mike
It is not unusual for an OBD to show a 1-2% difference. You also use an OBD, which we do not recommend because it has worked poorly. You can read more here www.iternio.com/abrp-obd
Hi Linda, thanks for the reply. I read the information and decided to purchase one of the OBD connectors which ABRP think work well. I now have the Vgate vlinker MC+ but I still see the same issue with the battery % being different to the car display. You mentioned that this can happen, could you share some information as to why it happens please?
I charged to 100% yesterday and ABRP was showing 96%. By the time the car was back to 60% ABRP was back to being about 2% off. The only strange thing is when I first started using live link ABRP was reading the same as the car for a few days and then suddenly it started reading differently. Its no real bother I guess, thank you for the information.

I don't have any facts on this but we think it could be that the car wants margin on the SoC so the battery doesn't go all the way down or up.

According to your values, ABRP uses the gross SOC (96% gross = 100% net at your car)
