Live data OBD2 connection doesn't reconnect

I have to delete and recreate the OBD2 link every day. It works for some hours then but the next day the connection icon toggles between red (disconnected) and blue (connecting). It does not get green again until i delete and recreate the connetion.
I am using an UniCarScan UCSI2000 adapter. The new OBD2 feature worked well and stable in the early beta phase but in April or Mai the reconnect problem showed up and is consistent since then.

However the UniCarScan UCSI2000 should work well and it might be that the dongle itself is faulty. Have you tried connecting with any other OBD devices?

I have the same problem with a Vgate iCar pro BLE 4.0 (abrp.upvoty.com/b/report-a-bug/odb-vgate-icar-pro-relink-needed-every-time).
And the method you recommend to link the device is the one I use ... every day !

I have done it this way more than 100 times. I am not aware that I could link the obd dongle any other way.
But I have to "unlink" the dongle each time before linking it again as abrp says the same dongle is linked already. Very annoying ...
I don't think it's the dongle itself because as you mentioned its a "good" dongle and for example the tool "evnotify" is able to instantly read the dongle for years now...

I am doing a small test run now. The car is charging and I have reconnected abrp. Currently live data is working. I will observe it today and tomorrow.

Bad news:
It failed on the third day. First two days were fine, abrp reconnected to the dongle each time I came near to the car.
But today it toggled between connecting (blue icon) and not connected (red icon). No live data update anymore.
I have send a bug report today (4. Nov 2022, 11:35 CET)
