I use ABRP with an OBDLink CX dongle and Android Auto, however whilst driving I will frequently drive through areas with no cell reception. It seems when this happens a dialogue box pops up on my phone screen, informing me there is no internet connection, which blocks the additional info displayed on the phone screen and requires user intervention to dismiss (by pressing OK). Occasionally other error messages pop up in this manner too. Whilst driving it is not safe to interact with my phone screen (or feasible in my car as the phone is held in a small phone tray low down), so these messages should time out after a short period of time and dismiss themselves to avoid blocking the additional information the phone screen provides.

Hi Scott,
Would this be the message you're referring to?

Yes! That is the exact message! I have occasionally also seen a message that said something along the lines of "An Unknown error occurred", but the "no internet connection" is the most frequent (as I often drive through areas with no cell reception).

Just to be clear these dialogue boxes pop on the phone screen, not on my Android Auto display on the car. I do use the Android Auto display as the primary means of navigation, but I still occasionally glance at my phone screen.
