Recently it has been freezing. Location on map in AA doesn't move. If I touch screen or try to open AA menu screen goes blank but says ABRP has encountered a problem.
If I unplug and plug back in it says I need a premium account. If I check my phone ABRP looks completely normal and says I'm logged in as a premium account.
It has done this every time it has been used beyond my normal day to day commute.
This is the route I did last Thursday. I can't remember whe. It goes off, but it has always been when getting into built up areas, so in this case central London. On the way out i could only get it working once out of central London.
Tomorrow I am doing a 250 mile trip. I will see how it does tomorrow. If any issues I will post the route here.
I will check your route but you have to wait for the updated version for the fix to work.
When will the update be released, crashed in my way home from work today. Tomorrow I will have to use Google
I just added a fix that should resolve this issue. Will be released with the next version (>4.1.7) so let me know if after the next update this still happens.
This one should be the same problem as the one you saw regarding the premium screen
It is fixed and will be available in the next release.
Please also provide the plan that crashed for you, so i can check on it and fix that as well.
sorry for the trouble. We are aware of the premium screen popping up sometimes and will fix that soon. It should be gone when you start the app on the phone again (no additional action needed). However that is not a really good workaround while driving.
Could you observe if the crash happens on a specific position, like for a certein instruction or anything? Could you maybe share a plan and post the coordinates where the crash happened?
