Ionity Gruibingen South

The IONITY GRUIBINGEN SOUTH is not accessible when traveling from Munich to Stuttgart. I always get this charger as a solution but there is no highway exit to allow access coming from the A8 in direction toi Stuttgart

To get to the charging station in Gruibingen South, you would have to drive under the highway along the service road. However, access to the service area is prevented by a barrier. You can drive out through the barrier but not in. If you are lucky, the barrier is open or a vehicle is driving out.

Google Maps routes correctly, it turns at the exit Aichelberg and approaches Gruibingen South from the north-west.

This is what we're doing at the moment. There's a type of service road that seems to allow for going onto the A8 again in the opposite direction to then get off on the correct side where the IONITY station is.

It is however unclear if this is correct. Google maps refuses to route using this service road and the street view images in this area are presumably from before the road was built.

Do you know if the situation has changed?

This road is so narrow that it is not an official motorway access road. Driving onto this "dirt track" is not permitted for normal drivers.

Attached a picture of the barrier and one of the small road.
