GPS with Google Maps and ABRP

Hi,
I just noticed this today. But if looks like if you are using ABRP Your location history in Google maps is lost during this time. Also if you are using Google Maps ABRP doesn't realize you have been anywhere. Perhaps the GPS is not getting shared between Apps in Android Auto?
