I'm also having this problem, and it definitely used to work correctly. Always defaults to a midnight departure now.

Same here. Issue can only be experienced on web browser, cannot be reproduced on iOS.
Repro steps: for a given start, set a future departure date and time then calculate route.
Expected result: route is calculated starting from input departure time
Actual result: route is calculated starting from 00:00 (midnight).
