Ioniq 5 carlinkit obdlink
There are several reports on forum that since you updated the app, carlinkit system and similar ones stopped working.
Note that i can make it work via android auto (which shows a crippled version of ABRP) and it successfully connects to OBDlink cx, however, when i use full ABRP in carplay mode (using the same exact hardware, as carlinkit does both android auto and carplay) the full android ABRP app fails to connect with the OBDlink cx.
So this is clearly an issue with coding on ABRP carplay version.
My carlinkit works flawlessly with a multitude of other Bluetooth BLE apps, so my hardware works very well.
Adding this to the fact that users who previously had ABRP working with OBDLINK and then stopped working after your update, indeed points at a software issue on the ABRP app which i suspect has got something to do with Bluetooth talk/permission or some location based bluetooth protocol that ABRP cannot engage outside android auto.

This seems to be an issue specific to Carlinkit, and unfortunately we will not be able to prioritize it now.

It is clearly a ABRP software bug as my carlinkit works very well with my obdlink cx

When you say uodate firmware, do you mean the one if the car? The obdlink? The carlikit?
Thanks

The OBDLink CX needs to be on latest firmware to work. You can update it via OBDLink App.

When you say update firmware, of what device? Carlinkit? Car? Obdlink?
Thanks

Please make sure firmware is latest and the obdlink is not connected to any other app, even the obdlink app.
