Editing configuration. Error

Whenever I try to edit the configuration (add a trailer) to my car. I keep getting Error could not update car.
I received this error before I linked my Telsa. Tried removing and readding. Tried linking. Note, this is newish account. Just subscribed in order to try adding configuration.

I just subscribed on order to calculate trailer consumption. However, i always get an error and the consumption does not change when I select trailer configuration.

I merged in your post with this existing thread. As previously stated;
"I've just verified with our developers, it is possible to add and edit configurations. The shown error message simply shouldn't be shown to you and we've solved this in the upcoming version."
What version are you currently using? (Version number can be found at the bottom of the settings menu)

Regarding the consumption numbers;
Simply adding a configuration for driving with a trailer will not change the reference consumption value.
As trailers and other additions can be very different in design and therefore also elevate your consumption differently, estimating your consumption would require more information than simply the added weight.
We do take the weight in account for how much pressure is put on your tires for instance but there's no easy way of determining the amount of air resistance your specific trailer has in combination with your car model. We would of course like to make these scenarios easier for our users to plan and estimate but we're not quite there yet.
If you however have the possibility to link your vehicle via a live data option that does enable us to calibrate your consumption value, ABRP can learn your actual consumption when driving with a trailer as you drive. (This is where adding a configuration is nifty, as we'll be allowed to separate the consumption data
The other alternative for you would be to manually set a higher value for your reference consumption, but this is also more difficult to guess correctly.
