Double travel time when adding waypoint (AZ)

The route finding algorithm goes crazy when I add a single way point.
Repro: Route from PHX to Grand Canyon is 3:30

Add Sedona SC and the trip goes all weird and is 6 hours. Other permutations are similar.

AHA! SOLVED! Enable "Real Time Traffic" and it goes all crazy and takes the stupid route that adds 150 miles and 3 hours to the trip.

aaand now reseting the settings doesn't help anymore. I have no idea what is going on. Is my account broken?

OK, If I save the route and select "Destinations Only" it works. But it I select "All Settings" when I pick the route I get the messed up directions. I see nothing unusual in the settings (other routes work just fine). I don't see how to share a "Plan" here though. I've named it "WTF" if you can access my account.

Thanks for looking. Weird. I am still getting 6 hours. However, I deleted the car and reset all settings and logged out. Then it gave me *9* hours. For some reason the reset put me at 20 mph max speed. After fixing that it seems normal again. We'll see if it comes back. I've seen this before.

I looked at your account and just clicked at Restart on your plan and now it has a normal time.
