OBD Disconnects in middle of drive

Running latest beta version. Using Samsung Note 20 and a Veepeak adapter with and ID4 and using wireless Android auto. App will frequently drop connection to the Veepeak. Sometimes disconnecting the veepeak from the obd port will cause the app to reconnect, sometimes not.
Also does not reliably connect at beginning of drive - same symptoms and same steps sometimes fixes this.

Hi, we just released a new version 4.2.2 with an improved BLE connection. This works much better than before. Please update to 4.2.2 and it should improve your situation.

Hi,
Do you use any other apps like torque or Evnotify that could access the dongle as well? You have to make sure no other app uses the dongle while ABRP is running.
Also on the standard BT device i also had to replug the Veepeak i had every once in a while as it just stopped working (on a different app though). So it might as well be dongle related.
We have a mechanism that reconnects the dongle when the connection is lost. We tuned that already and it normally works very well.
Which app version are you on? You can see it in settings at the bottom.

I do have ev notify on the phone but am not actively running it when I'm driving anymore. I'll try uninstalling it.
I also have the obdeleven app installed but I'd rather not in uninstall it...

I had a disconnect yesterday after uninstalling ev notify. I couldn't get the veepeak to reconnect even after removing and connecting it a few times during the drive.
ABRP was doing some strange things in android auto as well. The display was blank several times as I changed the infotainment system from aa to vehicle data and back. I had to hit the dot in aa then open ABRP to get the map back up.
I'm happy to share logging data if there's a way to get it out of the app if that helps.

FWIW I haven't been able to get Abrp to connect to the Veepeak for the past two days. Ev Notify works fine... Also the map has changed from a 3D rendering to a hybrid satellite view...
