When using ABRP with Android Auto on coolwalk the state of charge and estimated arrival state of charge indicator is obscured entirely when the map is in the 'side by side' view on widescreen android auto systems.

In 4.3.6 we fixed this by adding the arrival soc into the ETA bar at the bottom. In these small window overview mode we won't show the soc anymore, as it consumes too much space. In other coolwalk modes we added some additional fixes which will be available in 4.3.7.

Hi Mark,

Would you be able to provide an image of how they're obscured?
What version of ABRP are you currently using?

The original reporter beat me to it. I was planning to report the same issue and I'm just back from a short drive where I took some screenshots. One with abrp in fullscreen, the two others are side by side, one with abrp in main view, the other with spotify in the main view and abrp on the side. As you see in the side by side views a lot of the extra info is obscured. Also if abrp is in the small view the view is misaligned, the position indicator is barely visible.

Car is Hyundai Ioniq 5, phone is Pixel 6A with Android 13 and Android Auto 8.6-something.

Hope this clarifies things.

Best regards and thanks for a great product.

Thanks for the screenshots. Coolwalk mode is really just an overview mode, so it will not have the same level of detail the full screen app has. So missing SoC overlay is indeed as intended, but not so well accounted for in all situations as you could observe. We will deal with SoC differently in one of the upcoming releases.

I hope to see this improved. There is still a lot of screen real estate available for displaying information when not in full screen mode.
