Connection not stabil between App and OBD

The connection is not stabil it got disconnected and therefore the app is showing the wrong information such as SoC and SoC reaching the destination. How can this be improved?

Hi, that is not one of the dongles we have tested and confirmed to be working. Please check the list of our tested devices here:

Unfortunately we can not offer much support on dongles we do not have or tested, as there are too many and we can not sort out any weirdnesses of all these dongles.
So what you can try is
- unlink and relink the dongle
- restart the app (completely close it)
- replug the dongle (some I tested even lock up after some time)
- put the OBD dongle and the phone closer to each other
In general i would recommend to use one of the recommended dongles as we did lots of driving and can confirm they even work on 6h+ drives.
We however have on our TODO list, to improve the stability of the OBD connection further, if however you have so many problems now already, I doubt that will help you as it will just cover some edge cases.

Thank you for your reply but what I don’t get is that my dongle is the updated version from one of you have tested already and recommends mine has even the feature to shuts down after 30 min. when the car is turn off and has a physical turn out button. Nevermind i will try another dongle I am pretty certain that the app will have the same issues…I will update on this. I have done all those topics get the phone closer and reload reconnect the app and the dongle etc. unfortunately it is maybe good for one use and with the second trip it is jumping back to showing the 90% SoC which I have selected within the app for the start of every trip. But when it will be the same I will a payback for the premium membership of ABRP.

A new / updated device does not mean it will work in the same way. We got some reports from other users as well that some dongles work better than others. I personally use the MacLean MCE200 which is one of the cheapest and works quite well.
