When connecting to Tesla, the modal is a wizard-like workflow where you first give your username, click Next, then give your password, click Next, then give your MFA security code. The problem is that when switching on an iPhone 11 to say a password manager or the Authenticator, the modal disappears and you have to start over.

This is of course annoying, but it does not happen on our devices. Could it be that the ABRP app is being killed due to low memory on the phone when you switch apps?

Today I didn't have that problem at all. Yesterday, as soon as I swiped up to switch app, I saw that the black Tesla page disappeared. Not so today. Interesting. Perhaps memory-related, hard to say.
One minor thing: I did try to click the Back arrow on the Tesla sign-in page, and then I ended up in a limbo state where I couldn't close or cancel or get out, so I had to close the app. Maybe there is a button somewhere that I didn't see?

After today's update there is a close button X in the top right corner which closes the whole dialog and you can start over.

You could of course manually enter your username, ie your e-mail. In theory you could also memorize your Tesla account password, but in practise that's not feasible if using say a 20-character strong password. But assuming you do this, you'll still need to switch to your Authenticator to get your MFA code, because that's changing every 30 seconds. Would I be correct in saying that it's currently not possible to connect to your Tesla account from ABRP on your mobile device, if using MFA?
Hasan
Correct..

I just want to point out for other readers that this is a reply to my first comment, not my second.
