CarPlay Navigation exhausts iPhone 11

I‘m using ABRP 4.2.7 with an iPhone11 and OBD connected via BLE.
When navigating with ABRP visible on the car’s screen, the iPhone is completely overloaded. This leads to the iPhone heating up and also music playback stopping after 15 minutes.
After some time having ABRP in the background, the device and ABRP app becomes usable again.

I can report that iPhone overheating is still an issue. I am using 4.2.12(1119) this morning and the phone stopped charging due to overheating. I was driving before dawn and my phone is down at the floor of the car so sun hitting the phone was not the issue. My drive was over an hour and I noticed it stopped charging due to heat after about 30 mins.

This is of course a severe issue and we are looking for a way to reproduce it to be able to fix it. Let us know any input you may have on how to trigger it.

ABRP V4.2.7, iPhone 11 Pro iOS 15.5 with wired CarPlay, BLE connection
I also saw today that the load of the app seams to be very high because zooming the map is very slow and the UI stucks.
As I disconnected the iPhone from CarPlay the app got suddenly very responsive and zooming and using the UI got very smooth.
