While navigating:
If you unplug CarPlay cable and plug it back in again (normal use-case during charging etc)
It seems that it’s the top toolbar on CarPlay which doesn’t show the “back”, “settings” and “exit” buttons anymore but instead shows “search” and the "settings" button which is normally shown in non-navigation mode.

Same with me. ABRP v4.2.6. Wired CarPlay Connection.
If you switch to a different CarPlay App and then switch back to ABRP App the “search” icon toolbar appears instead of the “exit” toolbar.

We're on version 4.2.6 (982) using wired carplay. Will try to get more details - especially how to reproduct.
Pretty sure always in case if we attach the car to a charger; power off the car. uncouple the iPhone. Get a coffee etc. Come back and attach iPhone again and try to resume.
Will try to find steps to reproduce.

Hi,
Could you let us know which version of ABRP you were running when this occurred?
It would also be helpful to know what type of connection you used between your phone and the car, wired or wireless?
