Can't switch departure time AM/PM in Safari

When setting a departure time, it is difficult to switch between AM/PM. I can enter '17' to get 5pm, but I can't switch back to AM -- the AM/PM field isn't editable. Suggestion: either add a drop-down list box or have an option for military/24-hour time (I prefer the latter).
