Regarding the recent feature, in which it is possible to use OBD live data and over the air live data, there's no possibility to use an external source as over the air live data, but only Tronity. Tried to firstly connect Generic source ( for example I use an external server with an app running on home assistant) but then I can't add OBD bluetooth.
Is that a bug?

Just before the last update I was able to use both live data. One from the API of the car (renault zoe) and the ODB2 stick. But now with the recent update I am unable to select it.please fix this

I have the same issue - android here.
I would love to use the Telemetry API as the "over the air live-data" and then also the ODB2 as "in car live-data"

Hi Niels, i use both OBD and remote API. Could you please show a screenshot where you see problems or provide more information, where exactly there is a problem?
Actually using both a remote API and OBD together was just introduced in the last update. Which remote API do you use?
Or is your problem maybe related to

Sure see below. When you start fresh. So no connected data sources and you connect the API first. It's impossible to select the odb2 connection. See screenshot. When scrolling down and clicking "show live data instructions" also shows only tronity, and it does not matter of you do it via the app or the website.
So yes that issue seems similar but not the same.

As a workaround you should be able to setup OBD first when Tronity is not connected. After that setup Tronity and you should be able to use both, even if it shows only one. If you already setup OBD before you connected Tronity, it should still work.
Niels
This has nothing to do with tronity. I'm not using that. It's the API that I am feeding with data from home assistant. And can you confirm that this bug is being worked on ?
Samuel_ABRP
Ah so you did not connect tronity as shown in the second screenshot but you wanted to show, that the generic telemetry type is not available?
Samuel_ABRP
BTW if you used generic API in combination with OBD before, it kind of worked, but was not meant to be used together so there were some gaps. We will check why OBD does not work together with generic API. So in the end it is the same issue then.

It seems that there is a workaround : I was able to link it using a browser on my computer instead of my mobile app.

it does not work for me unfortunately, only shows tronity

Oh yes you’re right.
It was OK on my computer (showing both OBDII connection and Tronity connection) but as soon as I check on my phone, it still shows no data connection for over the air section.
