Cannot upload images from iOS

When trying to upload images on iOS (app version 4.7.4 on iOS 17.2.1 on an iPhone 15 pro) the app freezes when I believe it should be asking for permission.
Selecting from library allows me to select which photos the app should have access to, but hangs after on the main charger information screen. I manually allowed the app camera permissions then I was able to upload from the camera. Now when I try to upload a photo it immediately takes me to the camera, but if I cancel that I can seemingly upload from the library fine (I haven’t tried this fully though since I already submitted the photos I wanted to)
