Cannot connect to obdlink cx

I have a 2023 Mustang Mach-E GT, an obdlink cx, and a pixel 7 phone. Trying to connect ABRP on my phone to the obdlink cx, the final step fails. My husband is able to connect his pixel 6a to this obdlink cx without problem.
