1. ABRP App crashes when starting navigation. Crash Log sent via Google
2. Map is not moving with vehicle on AA display. Car leaves screen without map follows it. Also no manual movement of map possible.
3. Switching modes (heading north, 3D...) Is not working.
4. Map shows straight lines randomly. See picture attached.
Last release is really buggy.

Still issue, that map is not moving. Car is leaving the screen at a certain time. Position is tracked precisely and accurate. Dongle connection is established. Using device position is deactivated. 3D view activated.

Standing on the junction and turning left on the autobahn. Map is already rotated. Doesn't make sense at all and is confusing.
add to 4.: Still strange lines all across the map.
All these bugs within the first 3min of a trip. Cancelling the navigation, because map is not moving, than restart during drive from recent destination to get it running again, than strange lines. And I can't use the route with via points, that I have defined before, because I didn't saved it. Cumbersome.

Please provide more information about your device and the abrp version you use. Did you try to clear cache? Please also check if the permissions are properly set.
Current version is 4.1.11, so if yours is lower, please update. We fixed some things that sound like what you describe on some points listed.

2/3 Reason for not moving map could be, that I used the setting of using the GPS position of the phone instead of the vehicle. Switching back to vehicle, zooming, moving map and modes are working again.
2a) I switched to phone GPS because GPS position on the screen lags behind and map is already turning in the new orientation, even the turn isn't performed yet. Doesn't help unfortunately.
4. Lines still there. Especially if you start calculating a route in AA from your saved Routes. The straight line always starts, where you ended the navigation before, or where you entered the saved Routes menu. Seems something to be like "last position known", wiered.

Turning early is not a bug related to gps inaccuracy. We have a lookahead heading estimation that considers the route ahead and already rotates a bit so the main part of the route is ahead of you. If you want that to be changed, please open a feature request, to enable follow car heading only.

Do you use any telemetry connected to ABRP? We also had some issues, where some phones did not report GPS correctly when using AA only. Might be that we also had some Samsung users, in that case you could try to disable battery saver settings for ABRP. That could explain the lines going from last known position to where you recalculated.

During testing I used OBD Dongle with ABOR.
Since 20min I'm using iCar Dongle with ABRP direct.
I will check energy saving setting and will try.
Where can I upload a video. Modes are still not working. I want to show that to you.

From the screenshots it seems no telemetry data is used, so maybe wrong data is sent or wrong car selected which results in strange behavior.

That's the next thing.
I normally have the green bars besides the SoC, unless there are disappearing suddenly. But nevertheless the SoC is changing according to the consumption, but only the green bars are gone.

The other two modes only show the full overview, if no close by instruction is shown. So they should work correctly when you drive and then for example on highway when the next exit is a few km away it will switch to overview mode. This is on purpose so if you need to take a turn you have more details where to go to. But i agree that this is a bit confusing in this situation. Hard to show details on AA though to inform about that behavior.
So in the end it only comes down to telemetry sometimes not working correctly. Did you see the battery only symbol as well while using OBD from ABRP directly or is that gone now and always green/red indicator?
Also i'm a bit confused about the location not working correctly. So maybe you can sum up again, what problems are still left now since you switched over to ABRP OBD.
About the lines... That is most likely related to not properly working position as well. So we need to find out where this comes from. In the end it could all be related to the not properly working telemetry...
Do you have the same position issues, if you use the app without AA?

Not sure if the limitation for the view modes makes sense. Especially if I see an instruction, that seems to be odd (like the one in Munich messing the navigation up) I need to get an overview, if it makes sense or not.
I only got the BLE Dongle today. So I will test OBD direct to ABRP the next days and will report.
I don't think, that the lines have something to do with telemetry because the current position shown on the map is always right, but only the lines get drawn somewhere.
I've been driving with ABRP older releases several hundred kilometres without ever seeing these lines with all the same equipment.
I will come back to you, when tested.
