BMW IX route doesn't show charging stops

Routed from Seattle, WA to Pasco, WA with the BMW IX and it's reporting that it will take 7 ours to drive with no charging stops.
Switched to Mach E, and the same route is 3'ish hours with a single charging stop.
Not sure why BMW IX isn't automatically selecting EA or EVGo since those are my preferred networks configured in app.
